Frequency Asked Questions

01

How do I book an appointment?

The first step is to contact our clinic to schedule an appointment. The administrative staff will send you an intake package that will help the physiotherapist learn more about your symptoms and your condition.

You should complete your intake forms before you arrive at your appointment so your physiotherapist has time to review it. The intake forms also help prepare you for the types of conversations you will have during your assessment.

03

Does it hurt?

During their examination, some patients may feel uneasy, especially if they are dealing with a painful condition. Additionally, some patients may be hesitant about undergoing an internal examination. Nevertheless, this examination is crucial in providing valuable information to improve your treatment plan and achieve the best possible results.

02

What does treatment entail?

During your appointment, your physiotherapist will discuss the information provided in your intake forms, delve deeper into your medical history and lifestyle, and develop a treatment plan customized to meet your specific requirements. She will also perform an external assessment of the skin, fascia, and muscles in the abdomen, lower back, and inner thighs, as well as an internal exam of the vagina and/or rectum.

04

How many treatments are needed?

Assessment of each patient's needs is done to create an individualized treatment based on their specific requirements and desired outcomes.

Initially, patients may have more frequent appointments that will decrease as their symptoms improve. Towards the end of treatment, some patients may only need one or two appointments per year
