Laser therapy involves the application of low-intensity lasers or light-emitting diodes (LEDs) to targeted areas of the body. The light penetrates the skin and interacts with cellular processes, stimulating cellular repair and reducing inflammation. This process, known as photobiomodulation, alleviate pain.

What is it used for?

Some of the conditions that can benefit from laser treatment, include:

Does it hurt?

There is virtually no pain with Laser Therapy. 

our Level 3 Laser generates almost one heat and the Level 4 laser generates a mild amount. . 

You will be provided protective eye year while using the laser.

How many treatments are needed?

Laser therapy typically is not done as a stand lone protocol and will be integrated into your regular treatment plan

Is it expensive?

Some clinics charge an additional fee when patients use laser therapy, however we do not.

If laser is appropriate for you, your provider will perform the treatment during your regular physio/chiro appointment at no additional cost. If you are new to the clinic, you will need to book an initial consultation with any of our physiotherapists or chiropractors.
