What should I wear/ bring to my appointment
Physiotherapy: Please bring a pair of shorts and a t-shirt to your appointment. Sometimes you will be asked to wear shorts, even if the area of complaint is not in your legs because your physiotherapist will need to see how you move in order to accurately assess your condition.
Chiropractic: Most treatments can be done in your regular clothes.
We recommended that you wear something comfortable and easy to move in.
Massage therapy: Our massage therapists will step out of the room while you undress and there will be blankets on the massage table that you can lay under while receiving treatment.
How long is my appointment?
Physiotherapy: Initial consultations and follow-up appointment are typically one hour. Your appointment may be longer/shorter depending on your specific treatment plan.
Chiropractic: Initial consultations are typically 40 minutes and follow-up appointments are typically 20 minutes in duration.
Massage therapy: Massage appointment are booked based on the length of service you select. Please allow an additional 10 minutes (approx) for getting dressed/undressed and discussion with your therapist.
Can you direct bill my insurance?
We can direct bill most insurance companies directly. Some plans do not allow electronic submission, and if this is the case, our admin team will be happy to provide you with a receipt for your treatment so that you may submit a claim directly to your insurance provider.
Please include your insurance details in your intake paperwork, or bring them along to your first appointment, so we can advise on direct billing for your plan.
Do I need a doctors referral?
A doctor's referral is not required to book an appointment, however some insurance providers require a referral to cover any treatment costs.
Please inquire with your insurance provider if a doctor's referral is required for treatment costs to qualify under your plan.
